Family friendly accommodation in KL

By Katrina Griffiths:

We have already spent time in Kuala Lumpur on other trips, it’s a nice stopover, and there are a couple of great theme parks to visit which works well as a bribe when the kids get sick of temples.

This time we stay in a place called Junes Apartments and it is worth a mention because the owner, Peter, is one of the most helpful hosts I have ever come across. He really goes the extra mile and if you are travelling as a family, it is worth booking a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment with him in his condominium with the lovely pool and gym.

Beware of the taxi drivers though, I had one who made a very big fuss about how beautiful my daughters were. Then he asked me if I was their grandmother. Nice one.

(Editors note: I’ve always been a little wary of high rise apartments with my kids so was impressed to see that June’s Apartments have secure locks on windows in the kids rooms, to give parents peace of mind.)
